A large-scale educational and awareness-raising event dedicated to enhancing young people's legal awareness and legal culture, preventing crime and drug abuse, and promoting a healthy lifestyle was held at Kokand University.

The event was organised in cooperation with the city administration, the Department of Internal Affairs, the National Guard, and military units under the slogan “We, the Youth, Stand Against Crime and Drug Abuse!” Particular emphasis was placed on young people's responsibility for preserving peace and stability, maintaining public order, and actively participating in the life of society.

The event was opened by the Mayor of Kokand, who spoke about the opportunities being created for young people and the efforts undertaken to ensure peace and stability in the country. The negative consequences of crime and drug abuse, the importance of preventing offences among young people, and the need to approach their future responsibly were also highlighted.

As part of the event, the National Guard and military personnel presented demonstrations showcasing their combat readiness, physical skills, and agility. These performances attracted considerable interest among students. An exhibition of modern weapons and military equipment was also organised, giving young people the opportunity to ask specialists questions and receive answers.

One of the key highlights of the event was the presentation of special identification certificates by officers of the internal affairs bodies to 15 young people who actively participate in the “Fidokor yoshlar” (“Dedicated Youth”) project and demonstrate initiative in maintaining public order and ensuring peace and security in the city. This recognition aims to encourage young people's social engagement and further strengthen their sense of responsibility towards society.
