The delegation of Uzbekistan participated in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly alongside delegations from around 130 countries. During the session, Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, delivered a speech.

In her address, she outlined Uzbekistan’s clear position amid growing conflicts and declining mutual trust in today’s world:

“Our chosen path is clear — openness, good-neighborliness, and dialogue. We stand for peace, cooperation, and respect for human dignity.”

The speech also addressed a number of pressing issues, including fundamental transformations in Central Asia, Uzbekistan’s development path and improvements in the standard of living, the role of the United Nations in today’s world, the situation in Afghanistan, children’s rights and demographic stability, the Aral Sea disaster and environmental challenges, the development of artificial intelligence, the rule of law and women’s rights, the Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent, as well as the importance of upholding human dignity.

“Today, no state can solve global challenges alone. Uzbekistan is always ready to make a meaningful contribution to building a future based on trust and mutual respect.”
