Another practical achievement of the 2nd Rectors’ Forum: Kokand University and Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ADPU) have signed a practical cooperation agreement.

ADPU is a leading teacher-training institution in Azerbaijan. The agreement opens up new opportunities for Kokand University’s programmes with the largest student enrolments: Primary Education, Preschool Education, Special Education (Defectology and Speech Therapy), and Psychology.

The agreement provides for the following initiatives:

● Establishment of a joint research laboratory at Kokand University specialising in modern methodologies for early childhood development and inclusive education.

● Introduction of reciprocal tuition-free semester-long academic mobility programmes for students in teacher-training disciplines.

● Development and publication of a joint methodological textbook on special education, as well as joint applications for research grants offered by the ministries of the two countries.
