Akmaljon Yuldashevich Makhkamov, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences and Professor, has been appointed Head of the Internal Control and Monitoring Department at Kokand University.

A. Y. Makhkamov earned his PhD degree after successfully defending his dissertation before the Academic Council for the Award of Academic Degrees at Namangan State University. He graduated from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He obtained his Master’s degree from Fergana State University and his Bachelor’s degree from Kokand State Pedagogical Institute.

Throughout his professional career, A. Y. Makhkamov served as a lecturer and faculty dean at Kokand State Pedagogical Institute, Head of the Office of Kokand State Pedagogical Institute, Director of an academic lyceum, Acting Professor at the Department of Education of Kokand University, and Head of the Department of Education at Kokand University.
