Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Omonov Bakhtiyorjon Xabitovich has been appointed Head of the Department of Interfaculty Languages at Kokand University.

B. Omonov obtained his PhD degree from the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages. He also completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (UzSWLU).

Throughout his professional career, B. Omonov worked as an English language teacher at Schools No. 11 and 12 under the Uchkuprik District Department of Public Education. He also served as a trainee teacher, Deputy Dean for Spiritual and Educational Affairs, assistant lecturer, and Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs at Kokand State Pedagogical Institute.

Since December 10, 2024, B. Omonov has been serving as an Associate Professor at Kokand University.
