Within the framework of the 2nd Rectors’ Forum, currently taking place in Khankendi, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Kokand University and Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).

UNEC is one of the leading economics-focused higher education institutions in the South Caucasus, with extensive experience in international finance and business education. In accordance with the signed agreement, the following initiatives are planned:

1. Joint Laboratory: Establishment of a modern joint educational laboratory for FinTech and Applied Econometrics at Kokand University.

2. Joint Degree Programme: Taking the necessary steps to launch a 2+2 Double Degree programme in Finance and Economics.

3. Academic Mobility: Launching a reciprocal student exchange programme on a parity basis, with full tuition waivers for participating students.

     4. Academic Publications: Preparation and publication of an international textbook on modern banking, co-authored by academic staff from both universities.
