Kokand University
Kokand University is the first non-governmental university in the city of Kokand, Fergana region. The university is located in the city center — on Turkiston Street. Kokand University operates as a private higher education institution under Resolution No. 683 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 17, 2019, "On the Establishment of Kokand University." According to this resolution, the university is granted the right to cooperate with higher education institutions ranked in the top 1000 of international ratings (Times Higher Education – THE, Quacquarelli Symonds – QS), and to offer bachelor's degree programs in full-time, part-time-distance, and special part-time study modes. The university operates under a license issued by the State Inspectorate for Education Quality Control. In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers and Article 31 of the Law "On Education," diplomas issued by Kokand University are officially recognized in the Republic of Uzbekistan as valid higher education credentials.
