Departmental Discussions of Dissertation Works at Kokand University

On September 25–26, 2025, an important stage in the scientific activity of independent researchers took place at Kokand University — the departmental discussion of dissertation works.

During these days, the following researchers participated in the discussion process as part of their preparation for dissertation defense:

🔸 Khoshimova Nargis Abdullayevna – Doctor of Philological Sciences (DSc) in the specialty 10.00.11 – Theory of Language. Applied and Computational Linguistics, with the dissertation titled *"Gender Speech Analysis in the Communication Process (on the Example of Uzbek, Russian, and English Languages)";

🔸 Tangatarova Sokhibjamol Abdullayevna – Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pedagogical Sciences, in the specialty 13.00.02 – Theory and Methodology of Education and Upbringing (Uzbek language), with the dissertation titled *"Improving the Methodology of Developing Speaking Skills in Teaching the Uzbek Language (on the Example of Classes with Russian as the Language of Instruction)";

🔸 Murodova Shakhnoza Choriyevna – Dissertation work in the specialty 10.00.06 – Comparative Literature, Comparative Linguistics, and Translation Studies, titled "Lexical-Semantic Features and Translation Issues of Agricultural Terminology in English and Uzbek (Based on Material from Plant Science)."

During the discussions, the scientific research, methodology, practical significance, and novelty of the findings were thoroughly reviewed. Based on the feedback and comments of field specialists and faculty members, the researchers received valuable suggestions and recommendations.

These discussions became a vital step in enhancing the scientific potential of independent researchers at Kokand University and contributed to the development of modern scientific studies.
