At the “Alpomish” Ice Palace, one of the robotics engineering competitions — the “Robo Sumo” contest — is currently taking place. Among 101 young engineers, four participants from Kokand University are also demonstrating their knowledge and practical skills, competing with innovative approaches.

According to today’s results, the RoboSumo team has advanced to the final stage.

“Robo Sumo” is a competition between two fully autonomous robots held in a special circular ring, where the main objective is to push the opponent out of the ring or render it immobile.

This field requires participants to demonstrate strategic thinking, quick decision-making, and a well-developed engineering approach. Each robot operates independently based on pre-programmed instructions and competes without human intervention during the match.
