Today, an event titled “The Role of an Enlightened Woman in the Development of New Uzbekistan” was held at Kokand University in cooperation with the Committee on Family and Women of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of the public, and members of the intellectual community.

The event was attended by representatives of the Republican Committee on Family and Women, officials from the прокуратура and internal affairs bodies, members of the national councils “Enlightened Woman” and “Woman Scholar,” community activists from Kokand махаллаs, as well as professors and academic staff of higher educational institutions.

During the event, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Chairperson of the Committee on Family and Women, Zulaykho Bakhritdinovna Makhkamova, along with members of the national council “Enlightened Woman,” presented proposals regarding the role of women in the spiritual and educational life of society, existing challenges, and ways to address them.

In particular, the event highlighted exemplary initiatives implemented by Kokand University, as well as advanced practices in this field.
