A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening mutual cooperation was signed between Kokand University and the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi), India.

This memorandum envisages the development of education, scientific research, and cultural relations, as well as the exchange of professors, researchers, and administrative staff.

Within the framework of cooperation, the parties plan to actively work on joint scientific projects, publication of research articles, and exchange of bibliographies and literature. Additionally, provisions for creating necessary scientific conditions and access to laboratory equipment for visiting professors and researchers will also be considered.

For reference, Jawaharlal Nehru University was ranked 580th among world universities in the 2025 QS World University Rankings. This cooperation marks an important step in expanding Kokand University's international relations.
