The National Forum on Accelerating English Teacher Education Reform in Uzbekistan is being held in Tashkent as part of the Accelerating English Language Learning in Central Asia programme, implemented in partnership with the British Council and UK International Development.

Representing Kokand University at this prestigious forum are faculty members M. Najmiddinov, M. Ergashev, and A. Aminjonov.

The forum focuses on key issues related to improving the English language teacher education system in Uzbekistan, introducing the new PRESETT Curriculum approach, aligning teacher education with international standards, adopting modern teaching methodologies and assessment practices, promoting inclusive education, and enhancing the effective use of artificial intelligence in the teaching and learning process.
