It is well known that, at the initiative of the Head of State, every Thursday in our country has been designated as “Youth Day.”

In this regard, members of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis — Muhammadjon Valiyev and Manzura Salimova — held an open dialogue with students of Kokand University during their working visit to the Fergana region.

During the meeting, detailed information was provided on the significance of newly adopted laws, decrees, and resolutions, their role in public life, as well as the legal frameworks aimed at ensuring the future of youth and fostering the development of science and education.

Particular attention was given to the content and outcomes of the meeting with young people held on February 24 of the current year at the Kuksaroy residence, including the initiatives put forward and the priority tasks related to the transformation of the education system. Additionally, recent legislative changes concerning benefits, grants for students, and mechanisms supporting the study of foreign languages were thoroughly discussed.

Special emphasis was placed on the issue of graduate employment as one of the most pressing topics. The importance of career guidance, expanding internship opportunities, and facilitating effective integration of young people into the labor market was highlighted.

At the end of the event, students received direct answers to their questions from the deputies. Commemorative gifts were presented to active and talented young participants.
