A scientific seminar under the Scientific Council PhD.03/2025.27.12.Fil.25.03 at Kokand University held discussions on doctoral (PhD) dissertations submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Philological Sciences.

Under the specialty 10.00.13 – Comparative and Contrastive Linguistics, the seminar discussed the dissertation of Xolmirzayev Jamshid Naqibillo o‘g‘li, entitled “A Typological and Functional-Pragmatic Study of Anglo-Americanisms (Based on Uzbek and Korean Internet Discourse)”, and the dissertation of Toshboyeva Odinaxon Elbek qizi, entitled “Pragmatic Presuppositional Aspects of Headlines (Based on Online Editions of English and Uzbek Newspapers)”.

Under the specialty 10.00.14 – Twentieth-Century Uzbek Literature and the Contemporary Literary Process, the seminar discussed the dissertation of Melikuziyev Umarjon Urmonjonovich, entitled “The Artistic Features of Mirzo Xayrullo Xo‘qandiy’s Lyric Poetry.”

The discussions were held in an atmosphere of active academic debate and constructive scholarly exchange. Following the seminar, all dissertations were recommended for public defense.
