Professors from BMT University in Dresden are teaching Kokand University staff

Cooperation in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development is ongoing.

On July 10, 2025, a group of faculty members from Kokand University — O. Umarov, B. Turonboyev, Sh. Saidov, M. Muxtorova, and D. Mirzahamdamova — arrived at Lanzhou University in the People’s Republic of China to participate in an international professional development program.

Today, as part of the program, theoretical and practical classes on “Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development” began, delivered by professors from BMT University in Dresden, Germany — Dr. Alexey V. Alekseenko and Dr. Daniel Karthe.

During the visit, the professors were presented with souvenirs on behalf of Kokand University. Future areas of cooperation were also discussed between the parties.
