University of Minnesota (USA)

The University of Minnesota is a research university located in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota's largest cities. This university is the oldest and largest part of the University of Minnesota system and has the fourth largest campus in the country. The flagship of the University of Minnesota system, the Twin Cities campus is Minnesota's only land-grant university and one of the nation's most prestigious public research universities. Founded in 1851 near St. Anthony Falls on the banks of the Mississippi River, it is one of five universities in the nation with a school of engineering, a school of medicine, a school of law, a school of veterinary medicine, and a school of agriculture all on one campus.
