The purpose of this scientific-practical conference was to prepare 11,500 students enrolled in tourism programs at higher education institutions in Uzbekistan as highly skilled professionals, to widely implement dual education, enhance their theoretical and practical knowledge, explore the tourism potential of all regions of the country, and thereby increase the number of foreign tourists.
During the first day of the seminar, speakers discussed plans to revise tourism education programs for the 2024-2025 academic year by the end of the current academic year. They emphasized the importance of aligning these programs with the standards of prestigious universities ranked in the top 100 globally, introducing dual education formats, and establishing practical training facilities within universities.


On the second day, the participants visited the “Kokand” State Museum-Reserve and the “Jome Complex” (Museum of Applied Arts) in Kokand city. During the visit, seminar participants gained valuable insights into the Kokand Khanate era, explored its unique architectural style, learned about the lifestyle of ancient Kokand residents, and closely examined various exhibits and other historical artifacts. Over the two days, the seminar focused on achievements and existing shortcomings in the tourism sector, while also proposing and discussing recommendations for its further development.
