A webinar was held with a professor from the University of New Branswick

"It's not the teacher's job to teach, it's the student's job to create."

Kokand University professors and Vahid Urinov, a professor at the University of New Branswick in Canada and a member of the expert council of the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation, had an online conversation.

In his presentation, Vahid Urinov spoke about the experience of foreign countries in the field of teaching.

- A teacher does not have enough knowledge in the field. It is important to earn the respect of students by being kind, sincere and listening to what they have to say. We need to guide students in the right direction and create conditions for them to study science. Creating an online forum and discussing the lesson before the lesson is also an effective way, ”said the professor.

In the dialogue, pedagogical experience was exchanged on the basis of questions and answers on the tasks to be performed by students in the syllabus. Recommendations were made to establish a teacher evaluation system and to use the experience of high-achieving teachers to improve the skills of young teachers.

Rector of Kokand University Sherzod Mustafakulov proposed to translate foreign textbooks to improve the skills of teachers in cooperation with the University of New Branswick. It was agreed to carry out systematic work in this regard.
