Cooperation between Kokand University and Finnish universities is expanding

The Uzbek education system is on the path of further development in cooperation with Finland. At Kokand University, under the chairmanship of the President, special attention is paid to the implementation of the tasks set in the video conference on improving the education system in the country, accelerating the development of science. Prospective cooperation with Finnish universities is also expanding within the framework of the tasks set by the education forum and international online meetings organized with the participation of education officials of both countries.

To this end, a Finnish teacher has started working at Kokand University. Nadja Golubenko, who has 20 years of management experience at Lite Lion Europe OU and teaching experience at HAMK University in Finland, teaches Finnish to students for 1 year and teaches business classes.

According to the memorandum of understanding between Kokand University and the University of Applied Sciences of Karelia, from the 2021-2022 academic year (January) a group of our students in the field of Business Administration will be sent to study in Finland. Selected students will be able to take Finnish classes on November 12.
