"Every day is an opportunity, every day is the foundation of the future"

On August 18, the "Meeting of Three Generations" was held in "Nuroniy Maskani" in Kokand city. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of Nurani Public Council M.Abdullayev, the chairmen of the "Advice to the Elderly" group, members of the "School of Grandmothers" group, and representatives of youth leaders of MFYs.

During the meeting, M. Abdullayev spoke about the prevention of crime among young people, troubled families, and said that it is necessary to connect experienced and enterprising representatives of the older generation in each neighborhood.

At the meeting, vice-rector of Kokand University, Sherzod Dehkanov, noted that insufficient educational work is being conducted among young people and that their free time is not being meaningfully organized, which is the main reason for committing crimes among them.

M. Khaidarov, the chairman of the Elderly Advisory Group of "Kalvak Guzari" MFY, and youth leaders of " Margilon darvozasi " and "Baqachorsu" MFY, who spoke on the topic, emphasized the need to increase the effectiveness of preventive work in cooperation with the general public.

In a word, there were talks about crime prevention among students and unorganized youth. It was also agreed to hold various meetings, trainings, and seminars for students and non-organized youth together with intellectuals in order to prevent crime.
