January 14 - An unforgettable event was organized on the occasion of Defenders of the Fatherland Day!

A festive event was held at Kokand University on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the theme "If a young man is safe, there is no danger."

The event was opened with a congratulatory speech by Zebokhon Qabilova, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations of Kokand University.

Poems, melodies and songs praising the defenders of the Fatherland were performed.

During the event, a competition "Bally yigitlar!" was held. The university's honorable men competed in 4 categories, and at the end of the event, the winners were awarded commemorative gifts.

At the educational event dedicated to the defenders of the Fatherland, the director of Kokand University, Gafurjon Zakhidov, spoke and congratulated those present on the holiday.
