Novruz was widely celebrated
On March 15-16 at Kokan University, "May every day be Nowruz, my dear Uzbekistan!" holiday events dedicated to Nowruz were held under the slogan.
Mayor of Kokand Marufjon Usmanov and Rector of Kokand University, Doctor of Economics Gafurjon Zakhidov opened the festivities with a congratulatory speech and warmly congratulated the conference guests and all participants with Navruz. The spirit and philosophy of the holiday, which is widely celebrated by our people, is harmoniously manifested with the ideas and goals of the "Year of attention to people and quality education" and this characteristic, which has been an ornament of our spiritual life for centuries recognizing that the holiday brings endless joy and pleasure to the hearts, he wished that Navrozi would come with blessings to the world.
At the event "Navroz Party" on the grounds of Ko'kan University, a group of teachers and students participated in valleys and oases, namely Fergana, Andijan, Namangan, Karakalpakstan and Khorezm, Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions - a total of 9 regions. The customs, traditions and values related to Nowruz were embodied. The holiday took on a festive atmosphere and was connected to the display of hospitality and hospitality, oriental values typical of our people.
The lifestyle and unique customs of our people were reflected in the holiday exhibitions. Our nationality was attractively interpreted. National anthems and chants, songs were played. The national heroes of our people were embodied through stage performances. Novruz holiday and the history of our nation were reviewed and widely promoted. Especially the otov, which is considered one of the national values of the Karakalpak people, aroused everyone's interest. Folk games were played, varaqa were thrown. In a word, our university has become a vast space where cultures are united and embodied.
Holiday tables were uniquely decorated with spring national delicacies, Novruz dishes and pastries, and the most creative and serious teams were evaluated in various categories and duly awarded.
A traditional "Osh Sayli" was held on the occasion of Navrozi Olam. Sumalak was poured into the pots in all harmony, dug and cooked with good intentions.Varaqa were distributed. The participants of the holiday also tasted sumalak, a traditional spring dish.
At our university, Navruz is celebrated in pleasant circles, a festive mood reigns.
