Tanzila Norboeva: tasks related to the solution of youth problems are always in the center of our attention

Today, on April 1, the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Norboeva visited Kokan University.

Young people received answers to many questions they were interested in during the roundtable discussion held in the spirit of open communication.
The Chairman of the Senate acknowledged that in order to ensure the effectiveness of the state policy on youth, to effectively solve the problems that concern them, a completely new work is being done with the youth.

At the roundtable discussion, it was mentioned that the relevant committees of the Senate, together with the Youth Union, cooperate with every young person who is not indifferent to the fate of the country. It was noted that the decisions and, most importantly, the newly edited Constitution were enriched with news related to the solution of women's and youth problems, and the need for direct participation of young people in the effective implementation of large-scale tasks for their implementation in the future.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Senate introduced the students and young people to the content and essence of the norms included in the new Constitution. He specifically acknowledged that the renewed Constitution guarantees human rights and freedoms, establishes that Uzbekistan is a sovereign, democratic, legal and social state, guarantees the prohibition of forced labor, the right to education in accordance with new norms, and teachers are protected by the Constitution.

Our students thanked the distinguished guest for his visit and sincere communication and made suggestions. In particular, the proposal to elect representatives from universities to the Youth Parliament under the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, which acts as a unique bridge between the government and the youth, was approved by the Chairman of the Senate.
- It was the dream and goal of our Honorable President and all of us to have new, modern universities like Kokan University in the regions. In recent years, there are only 67 universities in our country, and young people have a great desire to get higher education, but there was little access to universities. Now, it is a great opportunity to have universities specializing in such modern education, with all areas of interest to young people, - said the Chairman of the Senate Tanzila Norboyeva.
At the end of the roundtable discussion, all students and young people were invited to actively participate in the referendum on the new Constitution, which is considered a long-term strategy for the development of our country, a strong legal basis for the future welfare of our people. The students of Kokan University unanimously declared that they will take part in the referendum saying "The Constitution is ours, we are not indifferent!"
