The quality of education is under constant control
The non-state higher educational institution of Koqan University was established on the basis of the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 683 of August 17, 2019 "On the establishment of Koqan University".
Educational processes at Kokan University are organized on the basis of the ECTS credit module system.
The qualification requirements and curricula of the educational fields have been approved and implemented in agreement with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation. Training is conducted by qualified teachers. The quality of training is constantly monitored by the Department of Academic Affairs, the Faculty Dean's Office, and the Education Quality Control Department through video cameras. Current control, Midterm and Final exams are organized on the HEMIS platform.
At the end of each semester, anonymous questionnaires are collected from students. At the same time, monthly "Rector's conversation" with students is organized based on the schedule.
In addition, the @rektorqabulibot virtual lobby has been launched in order to directly study the suggestions and wishes of students.
Currently, the university has 9 educational areas, and Foreign Language and Literature: English is one of the educational areas. Students of this course are divided into academic groups according to the level of language proficiency (A, B, C level). In this form, the costs associated with attaching students to academic groups are financed from the funds of the university. This, in turn, brings the quality of education and the level of language learning to a higher level.
Students' language learning indicators are calculated at the end of each semester and allow to advance from one level to a higher level or vice versa. In addition, free language clubs have been organized for students, and the activities of these clubs are constantly monitored by the Department of Scientific Research and faculty deans.
Currently, the following English language teaching clubs (all clubs are organized free of charge) are operating effectively:
1. English (A level)
2. English (B level)
3. English (S level)
4. IELTS for beginners.
Foreign language and literature: all professors and teachers who teach students of the English language major are aware of the measures of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 19, 2022 "Measures to bring the popularization of learning foreign languages to a qualitatively new level in the Republic of Uzbekistan" on events" has foreign language certificates and international qualifications in accordance with the decision PQ-5117.
The class schedule is regularly posted online on the HEMIS platform every week.
