The renewed Constitution is a solid legal basis for the prosperous life of our people
The university was visited by deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Budget and economic reform, doctor of Economic Sciences, professor Durbek Ahmedov and member of the Committee on health issues of citizens of the Legislative Chamber of the Parliament Mavluda Ibragimova.
Deputies conducted an open dialogue with our students and broadly commented on the essence of the updated Constitution, which prioritizes human interests and dignity.
Professor Durbek Akhmedov emphasized that our path to a sovereign, democratic, and at the same time social legal state will be determined through the new Constitution and that these principles will be of priority in our future development.
At the meeting, the new economic principles defined in the Constitution were discussed in detail, and it was recognized that these changes are an important foundation for the future of the state.
Also, the essence of important news based on the principles of proportionality regarding human rights was explained.
During the dialogue, students were informed about youth rights. Also, the news about the right to education, teacher's work, honor, dignity, and protection of persons with disabilities were discussed.
Deputy Mavluda Ibragimova admitted that qualified medical care is guaranteed by the state for citizens in the new version of the Constitution, and the volume of medical services is expanding.
He also informed that an expanded article on the prohibition of forced labor is being included in the Constitution. Children's rights have also been suspended.
During the dialogue, university students received answers to many questions from the deputies. They expressed their attitude to the principles reflected in the updated Constitution.
