Use of water resources
At Kokand University, special attention is given to the rational and sustainable use of water resources.
The university actively implements modern environmental technologies aimed at conserving water, improving its quality, and reducing excessive consumption.
Drip irrigation systems have been installed throughout the campus to maintain green areas efficiently while minimizing water usage. In addition, systems for collecting and reusing rainwater have been introduced — the collected water is utilized for technical purposes such as watering gardens and flowerbeds, as well as for cleaning and maintenance activities.
The university continuously monitors the quality of both drinking and technical water.
Through filtration and monitoring systems, water safety, compliance with hygiene standards, and the preservation of ecological balance are ensured.
Educational activities are regularly conducted among students and staff to promote a culture of water conservation.
Training sessions, seminars, and environmental campaigns are organized to raise awareness about sustainable water use.
These initiatives contribute not only to the development of ecological awareness within the campus but also to improving the overall environmental situation in the Fergana Valley region.
By implementing the Green Campus concept, Kokand University aims to manage its water resources efficiently and serve as a model of sustainable ecological development.
