The International Student Internship Programme of Kokand University offers students the opportunity to complete internships abroad in the fields of tourism, hospitality, service, marketing, and customer relations.

This programme enables students to gain firsthand experience in the global tourism industry, apply professional skills in practice, and develop in an international working and cultural environment.

Programme Objectives

Current practice areas:

1.     Bulgaria – Tourism sector internship

Students of Kokand University can participate in a 2–3 month summer internship in hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, and resort centers across Bulgaria.
Fields: tourism management, hotel service, restaurant operations, customer relations, tour guiding.
Duration: from June 15 to September 15.
Requirements: knowledge of a foreign language (English or Russian), interest in practical experience, valid international passport.

General Requirements and Required Documents:

Eligibility:
• 1st–3rd year bachelor’s students of Kokand University;
• Minimum language proficiency: B1 (IELTS 5.0–6.0);
• Adherence to academic discipline and university representation principles during the internship;
• Valid international passport and required documents.

Required documents:
• Copy of national and international passport;
• CV (Europass format);
• Language certificate (if available);
• Recommendation letter (from the Faculty Dean);
• Application form (submitted through the International Cooperation Department).

2.     Greece – Tourism sector internship

Students can complete internships at 4–5-star hotels and travel companies located on Greece’s most popular islands and resort destinations.
Fields: hotel and restaurant service, office/front-desk operations, tourism management.
Duration: June – September.
Requirements: English language proficiency (CEFR B1+), interest in hospitality, strong communication skills.

3.     Spain – Tourism sector internship

The internship programme in Spain allows students to work in tourism companies, hotels, and restaurants, gaining valuable European professional experience.
Fields: tourism and hospitality management, marketing, customer relations, office administration.
Duration: summer period (June – September).
Requirements: English or Spanish language proficiency (B1+), social activity, initiative.

This internship programme provides students with the opportunity to explore Southern European hospitality through placements in Portugal’s tourism enterprises and institutions.
Fields: hotel management, marketing, tourism services, customer relations.
Duration: from June 15 to September 15.
Requirements: English language proficiency (IELTS 5.5+), valid international passport, positive motivation.
