Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics Abbasxon Aliyevich Yusupov has been appointed Head of the Department of Research at Kokand University.

A. Yusupov earned his PhD degree from Kokand University. He completed both his master’s and bachelor’s degrees at the Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent (MDIST).

Throughout his professional career, he has served as a Leading Economist and Chief Economist at the Main Department of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Fergana Region, Director of the “Smart Kids” non-governmental educational institution, Head of the Student Services Department at Kokand University, Lecturer and Senior Lecturer at the Department of International Tourism and Economics, and Head of the Department of Digital Technologies and Mathematics.

He currently serves as the Chairperson of the Primary Trade Union Organization of Kokand University.
