Erasmus+ KA171: Academic Mobility Opportunity in Cyprus!
Attention to students and teaching staff of Kokand University!
Kokand University announces academic mobility opportunities under the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (KA171) programme based on the 2026–2029 Inter-Institutional Agreement (IIA) concluded between Kokand University and CIM – Cyprus Business School (Nicosia, Cyprus).
The cooperation covers the following fields:
- 0411 — Accounting and Taxation
- 0412 — Finance, Banking and Insurance
- 0413 — Management and Administration
- 0414 — Marketing and Advertising

FOR STUDENTS
One student of Kokand University will have the opportunity to study at CIM – Cyprus Business School (Nicosia, Cyprus) for one semester during the first semester of the 2027–2028 academic year.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- be a full-time Bachelor's or Master's student at Kokand University;
- not be in their graduating year;
- have a total Erasmus+/LLP mobility period of no more than 12 months within the same study cycle;
- have a minimum GPA of 3.00/4.00 for Bachelor's students;
- have a minimum GPA of 3.00/4.00 for Master's students;
- have a document certifying English language proficiency at least at B2 level.
In accordance with the Kokand University Regulation on Academic Mobility, unless otherwise specified by the programme, Bachelor's students must have completed at least their first year of study.
HOW WILL THE SELECTION BE CONDUCTED?
Applicants will be selected according to the 100-point assessment system established by the Kokand University Regulation on Academic Mobility.

For Master's students, greater emphasis is placed on academic and research activity.
In addition, according to the CIM IIA, student candidates will be ranked based on the Erasmus+ Ranking Score, taking into account GPA and foreign language proficiency. The IIA also allows additional selection criteria to be announced for each specific application call.

FOR TEACHING STAFF
Three teaching staff members of Kokand University will have the opportunity to visit CIM – Cyprus Business School (Nicosia, Cyprus) during the spring semester of the 2026–2027 academic year and undertake professional activities for 7 days.

The mobility at CIM – Cyprus Business School will be organized either as academic teaching or as professional development/training activities.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR TEACHING STAFF
In accordance with the Kokand University Regulation on Academic Mobility, applicants must:
- have a valid employment contract with Kokand University;
- have not received a serious disciplinary sanction during the last year;
- have foreign language proficiency at the level required by the programme (B2);
- have achieved a satisfactory or higher result in the most recent KPI assessment period.
