📢 ATTENTION TO PROFESSORS AND TEACHING STAFF OF KOKAND UNIVERSITY!
Kokand University announces an academic mobility opportunity for teaching staff based on the Inter-Institutional Agreement (IIA) concluded between Kokand University and Opole University of Technology (Republic of Poland) under the Erasmus+ programme.
This cooperation is implemented within the framework of Erasmus+ KA171 – Higher Education Mobility between EU Member States and third countries not associated to the Programme.

FIELD OF STUDY
According to the IIA, the following field of education is specified for this mobility from Kokand University to Opole University of Technology:
0710 — Engineering and engineering trades, not further defined
Therefore, this call is intended for teaching staff whose academic and professional activities are related to engineering and engineering technology fields.
WHO CAN APPLY?
In accordance with the Regulation on Academic Mobility of Kokand University, applicants must:
- have a valid employment contract with Kokand University;
- have not been subject to a serious disciplinary sanction during the last 1 year;
- have a foreign language proficiency level appropriate to the programme requirements;
- have achieved a satisfactory or higher result in the University's most recent KPI assessment period.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT
According to the IIA, the recommended language level for teaching staff is B2.
The IIA concluded with Opole University of Technology specifies English and Polish as the languages of instruction, while B2 level is recommended for staff mobility.
HOW WILL THE SELECTION BE CONDUCTED?
Applicants will be evaluated according to the Regulation on Academic Mobility of Kokand University using a 100-point assessment system:

Following the selection process, successful candidates and reserve candidates will be identified.
📄 REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Teaching staff applicants must submit the following documents:
- Application;
- CV / Curriculum Vitae;
- Certificate or other document confirming foreign language proficiency;
- List of scientific works/publications;
- Extract from the latest KPI assessment sheet;
- Recommendation letter from the department/faculty;
- Confirmation regarding the temporary transfer of the applicant's teaching workload to another staff member during the mobility period;
- Other documents required by the programme.
IMPORTANT ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
According to the IIA, the nomination/application process for STA mobility is carried out via email.

According to the Kokand University Regulation, the Department of International Cooperation is responsible for organizing the acceptance of documents, preliminary screening, and the selection process for international mobility.

DURING THE MOBILITY
The selected teaching staff member will:
- undertake a 5-day academic mobility at Opole University of Technology;
- deliver at least 8 hours of teaching within the STA mobility;
- fulfil the mobility programme and work plan;
- carry out activities in accordance with the relevant Teaching Mobility Agreement;
- arrange the necessary insurance documentation.
POST-MOBILITY OBLIGATIONS
In accordance with the Kokand University Regulation, the mobility participant must:
- submit a final report and photo report within 10 working days after returning;
- conduct an experience-sharing seminar or open lecture at the department/faculty level within 1 month after returning;
- submit proposals on introducing the knowledge and experience gained abroad into the University's educational and scientific processes.
