About the program
The Foreign Language and Literature program is a program aimed at training qualified teachers who have a perfect command of foreign languages, are able to teach them based on modern pedagogical technologies, and have thorough theoretical knowledge and practical skills in linguistics and literary studies. Within the framework of the educational program, students can specialize in English, German, Korean or French language and literature. During the study process, subjects such as reading and writing practice, integration of speaking skills, practice of language aspects, foreign language teaching methodology, translation theory and practice, stylistics, theoretical linguistics, history of foreign literature, second foreign language, media literacy, assessment in education, inclusive education and hospital pedagogy are taught. Depending on the chosen language, graduates are awarded the qualification of a teacher of English, German, Korean or French language and literature. Professional activities include pedagogical, scientific research, spiritual and educational, organizational and management, information and communication, and digital language services. Graduates can work as foreign language teachers, tutors, or office managers in general secondary and vocational educational institutions, as well as translators, tour guides, consultants, managers, tour guides, journalists, and publicists in state and non-state organizations.
