Vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations tasks
· organizing implementation of the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees and orders of the President, decisions of the Oliy Majlis and the Cabinet of Ministers in the field of science, innovative activities, education and personnel training;
· organizing the implementation of the orders, orders and instructions of the higher official organizations, the decisions of the Council of the higher educational institution and the orders of the rector on issues related to the processes of scientific research activity;
· development and effective implementation of scientific activities of the higher educational institution;
· controlling and ensuring the fulfillment of tasks in the scientific part of personal plans of professors and teachers;
· organizing international and national scientific conferences, organizing seminars on current topics, organization and coordination of students' scientific research work;
· putting the results of scientific research into practice, organizing innovative activities, establishing scientific cooperation relations with foreign higher education institutions and scientific research institutions;
· preparation and publication of scientific conference materials, periodical scientific journals and collections of scientific works by the employees of the higher educational institution and ensuring that the library fund is replenished with scientific periodicals in the areas of scientific activity of the higher educational institution;
· managing the process of finding and selecting talented young people, working with them and assisting them, managing the process of training the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan state scholarship awardees from among doctoral students;
· carrying out permanent cooperation with higher education institutions in the scientific direction, ensuring the active participation of professors and teachers in conferences and seminars, working in cooperation with local authorities;
· organizing and controlling the activities of the commercialization department of scientific and innovative developments;
· using of international scientific and technical databases, preparation and publication of articles in international scientific journals, implementation of measures to increase their citation;
· organizing and ensuring effective functioning of academic councils awarding scientific degrees in higher educational institutions.
· development and implementation of plans for scientific research, scientific seminars, conferences;
· development and implementation of annual plans of experimental experimental construction works for the purpose of commercialization of scientific and innovative developments;
· commercialization of intellectual property objects and results of intellectual activity obtained within the framework of scientific research, experimental design and technological works;
· organizing and managing the process of training highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel;
· organizing and participating in exhibitions and contests of scientific developments;
· implementation of international cooperation related to the implementation of scientific and publishing activities;
· scientific works and innovative activities of the higher educational institution;
· activities of the doctoral department and scientific department of the higher educational institution, the department of commercialization of scientific and innovative developments;
· activities of editors and editorial boards of scientific journals.
Coordinates the following activities:
• the activities of the staff responsible for scientific affairs and innovations (deputy deans), scientific researchers;
• work of the Scientific Councils awarding the degrees of Doctor of Science (DSC), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD);
• scientific research works of students (undergraduate and graduate students);
• activities of the higher education institution to work with young scientists and talented youth;
• interacting with the faculties, branches and other structural units of the higher education institution on the organization and implementation of scientific and scientific-research works of doctoral students, independent researchers and students.
• Ensuring timely preparation of reports on the field of activity and preparing proposals and recommendations for the current development plan of the higher education institution;
• In accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 12 of January 12, 1999 "On measures to strengthen executive discipline" on executive discipline, labor and educational discipline, labor protection, safety equipment and work to comply with the goals and tasks set in the regulations on discharge sanitation, the Charter of the university, the rules of the Internal Labor Procedure, the decisions of the Council, the orders of the employer, and the regulatory legal documents of the educational system, as well as their duties.
