Mamadaliyev Ulugbek
Head of the Department of International Cooperation
Ulugbek Mamadaliev holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in International Tourism and Economics from Tashkent State University of Economics. He also studied International Tourism and International Relations at the Alexander Technological Educational Institute in Greece and at Gunadarma University in Indonesia. His professional career has mainly focused on establishing inter-university cooperation and international relations. Since 2021, he has served as Head of the International Cooperation Department at Kokand University. During this period, he has organized internships abroad for more than 500 students, facilitated academic exchange for more than 50 students to countries such as South Korea, Finland, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, Greece and Poland, and led academic mobility, professional development and internship programs for nearly 200 faculty members in countries including Denmark, Spain, Serbia, Greece, Poland, Turkiye, Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Indonesia. During his time at Kokand University, he has developed and secured funding for 6 Erasmus+ ICM projects funded by the European Union, coordinating the academic exchange of more than 30 faculty members and students within these projects. He also serves as grant holder and coordinator of the Erasmus+ CBHE “GreenCamUz – Green Campus Initiative” national project (Strand 1), planned for 2025–2028. Saidov Shohruh Mirzo Odiljonovich
International Cooperation Department Grant Projects Specialist
Shokhruh-Mirzo Saidov is an International Grant Projects Coordinator at the Department of International Cooperation at Kokand University. He has academic and professional experience in tourism, economics, small business, and entrepreneurship. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Kokand State Pedagogical Institute, a Master’s degree from the Republican Higher School of Business and Management, and an MBA from Webster University. He is currently a PhD researcher at Kokand University, focusing on the economics of small business and entrepreneurship. Main responsibilities: • developing, preparing, and coordinating the University’s international grant projects; • supporting international cooperation with European countries through Erasmus+ CBHE/ICM programmes; • coordinating cooperation and project-related activities under Germany’s SES, the ORHUN programme for Turkic-speaking countries, India’s ITEC programme, and Handong Global programmes in Korea; • promoting international academic mobility, professional development, and international opportunities for students and academic staff. Shohruh Saidov is actively involved in international grant development, academic mobility, international cooperation, and professional development programmes. He also contributes to teaching in the fields of tourism, economics, and entrepreneurship at Kokand University and conducts research in the area of small business and entrepreneurship economics. His previous professional experience includes teaching English at Secondary School No. 17 in Dangara District.
Inomjonova Diyorabonu Iqbolkhoj'jayevna
International Agreements Specialist, Department of International Cooperation
Diyorabonu Lutfiyeva is a graduate of Webster University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in International Relations. She currently works at the International Cooperation Department of Kokand University as a Specialist in International Programs and Agreements. Main responsibilities: • Establishing and developing cooperation with international universities and organizations; • Preparing and coordinating international cooperation agreements, Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs), and other partnership documents; • Organizing international exchange programs for students and academic staff; • Coordinating cooperation in international educational programs, summer schools, conferences, and academic projects; • Maintaining regular communication with foreign partner universities; • Facilitating students' participation in international programs and academic mobility opportunities; • Managing documents, proposals, and official correspondence within the framework of international cooperation; • Identifying new opportunities to expand the University's international relations and partnership network. Through her professional activities, she contributes to the development of international cooperation, creates new academic opportunities for students, and supports the expansion of Kokand University's partnerships and presence in the international arena.
Ravshanbek Abdurahimov
International Cooperation Department Deputy for International Grants
Ravshanbek Abdurahimov is Deputy Head for Projects at the Department of International Cooperation at KU. He has an international academic and professional background in political economy, public policy, and sociology. He holds a PhD from Tashkent State University of Economics, an MSc in Sociology from the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), an MA in Public Policy from the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy in Germany, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Bucharest. Main responsibilities: • developing and coordinating the University’s international projects and grant initiatives; • strengthening cooperation with foreign universities, research institutions, and international organisations; • expanding the University’s participation in Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, and other international programmes; • promoting international academic mobility, professional development, and joint education and research initiatives. Ravshanbek Abdurahimov has professional experience in research, international projects, and institutional management in Uzbekistan and Europe. He has conducted research at the Sociology of Law Department at Lund University and at Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP) in Berlin. He has also served as Head of the Department of International Projects and Investment at Fergana State Technical University.
Madaminova Munisabonu
International Cooperation Department PO' and employee mobility (exchange) specialist
Munisabonu Madaminova is a graduate of Webster University, where she earned a Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MA TESOL). She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hons Banking and Finance from MDIST and previously studied Hons Islamic Finance at Mahsa University, Malaysia. She began her higher education at Mahsa University in Malaysia, where she studied Hons Islamic Finance for four semesters. She later transferred to MDIST in Tashkent and continued her studies in Hons Banking and Finance, completing her Bachelor’s degree. During her undergraduate studies, she completed additional courses in Human Resources (HR) and Marketing and obtained relevant certificates. She also completed an internship at SHAK'S Media advertising agency in Tashkent and subsequently worked there as an Account Manager for two years. Currently, she works at the International Cooperation Department of Kokand University, where she is involved in the university’s international relations, cooperation with international partner institutions, and academic mobility initiatives. Main Areas of Responsibility: · Establishing and developing partnerships with international universities and organizations; · Preparing and coordinating international cooperation agreements, Memoranda of Understanding (MoU), and other partnership documents; · Developing staff exchange and academic mobility opportunities for faculty members; · Organizing visits of international delegations, international meetings, seminars, and online conferences; · Maintaining professional communication and official correspondence with international partner universities; · Coordinating international educational programs and academic cooperation projects; · Identifying new opportunities to expand the university’s international cooperation network and geographic reach.
